About Project

Located in the United States Territory of Guam, Anderson Air Force Base serves as a support to United States and foreign air forces. In 2020, TIC entered a joint venture project with Champion Specialty Services to complete coating renovations on two existing fuel storage tanks per government specifications.

The scope of work consisted of scaffold installation on the interior and exterior of both tanks, as well as exterior containment. Approximately 100,000 square feet of abrasive blasting on both the interior and exterior of the tanks to an SSPC SP 10 near white steel cleanliness was completed, as well as the application of three-coat paint system.

The scope of work also called for caulking of all roof joints.
