Thomas Industrial Coatings was hired to coat this single smoke stack at Sammis Power Plant in Stratton, Ohio. There were multiple trades working below the stack, requiring close coordination and extraordinary attention to detail. After all, safety is the number one priority on all of our job sites.

Thomas Industrial Coatings was hired to coat and paint two smoke stacks at the Coronado Generating Station in central Arizona. The work was completed without incident or accident.
The Coronado Generating Station is a coal-fired, steam electric generating station near St. John’s, Arizona.
Smokestack painting for Duke Energy Cayuga Generating Station – Smoke Stack
Duke Energy’s Cayuga Station is a three-unit power generating facility built throughout the time period between 1970 and 1993.
The Thomas Industrial Coatings team was commissioned to coat a single stack with an epoxy Novalac coating system. Weather conditions, smoke from the operating stack and working hours added a few curveballs to the project. But, at the end of the day, expertise won out and it’s another project we’re proud to have our name on.
Concrete coating on Miami Fort Smoke Stacks Units 7 and 8
Two stacks. Different times of the year. And we successfully pulled this one off. The Miami Fort Smoke Stacks project proved challenging for our team due to the large scope of work and the added elements of seasonal change. But, all went well and we’ve got this southern Ohio plant hard at work again.
Tank coating and abrasive blasting services at Point Loma Submarine Base — New Tank Farm
The Point Loma Submarine Base New Tank Farm project involves abrasive blasting and coating 11 tanks, and miles and miles of piping for the Point Loma Naval Base in San Diego, CA. This large-scale project is scheduled for completion in late 2012. Like with any of our military work, we’re proud to serve the men and women of the United States Armed Forces.
Thomas Industrial Coatings completes fuel tank coating project at Creal Springs Tank Farm
Thomas Industrial Coatings was brought in on the Creal Springs Tank Farm project which involved abrasive blasting and coating the new fuel storage tanks in southern Illinois. Robotic blasting was used for the large majority of the work.
We’re proud to say that we completed this project months ahead of schedule.
