The Intercoastal Waterway Sector Gate project involved full containment, blasting to an SSPC-SP5 white metal condition and the recoating of one set of sector gates for the US Army corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District.
The Intercoastal Waterway is a 3,000-mile waterway along the Gulf and Atalantic coasts. It provides an easy-to-navigate, safe route along its lengths. It runs for much of the length of the Easter Seaboard and it’s maintained by the United States Army Corp of Engineers.
